Taly and Peter's first conversations centered around where they had previously traveled to, but quickly became about what their travels could be together.
Within weeks of first dating, TP had traveled to Idaho with their friends and Hawaii with family. Within months, Portugal was added to the list. And within years, TP had traveled to over 13 countries.
Drives past SFO - with Peter shouting out obscure airlines and airplanes - usually led to a conversation and daydreams of where TP will travel to next. Rarely did it take long for those daydreams to become reality.
Typically, within minutes of tickets being purchased, a shared doc was filled up with fun activities, museums of every variety, and live music galore - a boat trip of some variety tossed in for good measure.
And upon arriving at each destination, Peter's first question was always "where are we eating?", to which Taly would respond with a curated Google Maps collection with hundreds of top restaurant picks to which Taly would then ask Peter "how are we getting there?". Without a second of hesitation, Peter would share his Google maps with turn by turn directions.
This equilibrium and mutually understood responsibilities has carried throughout their relationship beyond their travels and will continue to do so throughout this adventure we call life.
